Job Description:
Employees in this role act as subject matter experts for clients concerning anything related to their storage environment. Whether it concerns the disk, SAN, NAS, or storage software related to these technologies the Sr. Storage Specialist is called upon by clients as an expert in the field. 
 
Deliverables for this role require a high level of expertise such as: 
  • Assess business impact of multiple technologies/strategies and their influence on the economics of storage like OPEX, APEX, TCO etc.
  • Develop architecture specification deliverables that map customer business requirements into complete information systems (technologies, processes and people). 
This position will require expert knowledge in storage hardware/software as well as expert knowledge in the development, design, and implementation of data storage architectures. 
 
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years designing and implementing data protection solutions for multi-site, large volume production environments.
  • 10+ years managing large-scale storage environments utilizing off-the-shelf storage management products from EMC, IBM, HP, Symantec, NetApp, Brocade and/or Cisco.
  • Excellent understanding of business protection concepts including disaster tolerant solutions with Backup/Restore and Data Replication concepts.
  • At least 5 years experience in Disk partitioning and volume management including mapping of volumes  
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment.
  • Experiencing working for major storage vendors such as- IBM, HP, EMC, Symantec, NetApp in a consulting role.
  • Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work successfully with prospects, customers, and manage consulting teams to meet goals.
  • Account management and project management experience.
  • Understands customer business and technical environments
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and drive effective handling of critical situations and complaints as required; identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent French oral/written, good English

Storage Consultant

Job Description:
Employees in this role work with subject matter specialists on client engagements pertaining their storage environment. Consultants have a deep technical understanding of a client’s environment and are tasked on projects to identify and resolve specific issues relating to a client’s environment.
 
Deliverables for this role require a high level of expertise such as:
  • Planning, managing and participating in the diagnosis (current state), detailed design (future state) and deployment of storage related processes and technologies including storage, backup/ recovery and data management.
  • Identifying storage related business and technology requirements and validating that design results address them.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive more value from an organization's existing and planned storage investment through a combination of technical, operational and organizational initiatives.
This position will require expert knowledge in storage hardware/software as well as expert knowledge in the development, design, and implementation of data storage architectures.
 
Required
